Students must be residents of Arkansas to receive this funding.

Applicants attending four-year public institutions in Florida may be eligible for state-based financial assistance.

Eligibility:
Students must attend four-year public institutions in Florida.
$1000 (in summer term) or $1500 (in fall or spring semesters) of this financial assistance award is contingent upon the student's staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. |

Eligibility:
Students must attend the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, or University of Northern Iowa. They must also be residents of Iowa.
These awards are contingent upon the student's staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. |

Maryland
Applicants attending institutions in Maryland may be eligible for state-based financial assistance. Award amounts for all remaining terms in 2009, as well as eligibility criteria, are summarized below.

Fall semester: $6,500
Eligibility:
Students must attend four-year public colleges and universities, or selected community colleges, in Maryland . They must also be residents of Maryland.
$2000 of the above financial assistance is contingent upon the student staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. |

Massachusetts
Applicants attending four-year public institutions in Massachusetts may be eligible for state-based financial assistance.
Award amounts for all terms in 2010:
Spring semester: $5,000
Summer term: $5,500
Fall semester: $5,000
Eligibility:
Students must attend four-year public institutions in Massachusetts. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must be residents of Massachusetts.
In the spring and fall semesters, $1300 of this financial assistance is contingent upon the student's staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. |

New Jersey
All applicants attending institutions in New Jersey may be eligible for state-based financial assistance
(See note below regarding The Richard Stockton University).
Award amounts for all terms in 2010:
Spring semester: $1,000
Summer term: $1,000
Fall semester: $1,000
Eligibility:
Students attending any institution in New Jersey may receive these awards.
Students attending The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey are eligible, by arrangement with the university, to receive a $2,550 award for the semester and $1700 for the summer term.
All of the above awards are contingent upon the student's staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. |

North Dakota
Applicants attending North Dakota institutions may be eligible for state-based financial assistance.

Spring semester: $5,000
Summer term: $5,000
Fall semester: $5,000
Eligibility:
Students must be U.S. citizens and should visit the ND Department of Commerce website to obtain a form that must be completed. Recent grads are eligible to receive this funding to participate in the Postgraduate Professional Development Program. |

Award amounts for all terms in 2010:
Spring Semester: $3,500
Fall Semester: $3,500
Summer Term and Winter/Spring/Fall Quarters: $2,800
Eligibility:
Students must attend selected public or private colleges and universities; the scholarships available may be limited and awarded at the institution's discretion.
In the spring and fall semesters, $1,300 of this financial assistance is contingent upon the student's staying in Washington Center housing and will be applied to the student's housing bill. In the summer term and winter/spring/fall quarters, $1,000 is deducted from the housing bill. |

Students must attend Pennsylvania State University System institutions or other selected public colleges and universities.
Students from selected private institutions:
Spring semester: minimum of $3,000
Summer term: minimum of $3,000
Fall semester: minimum of $3,000
Eligibility:
Students must attend selected private colleges and universities; the scholarships available may be limited and awarded at the institution's discretion. |

Students must attend Austin Peay State University, East Tennessee State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University, Tennessee State University or The University of Memphis. |
